Merlin supports magical Christmas concert

Christmas carols will echo round Cadbury Heath on Wednesday evening as children from Parkwall Primary School perform a special open-air concert for local residents.
The concert has been organised by the Juice Community Project and is being supported by Merlin Housing Society, which has provided funding for a Christmas tree and festive lights. The event will also include a visit from Father Christmas.
Hazel Gray, Service Delivery Manager at Merlin’s Kingswood Housing Office said: “We are really pleased to be supporting this event which is aimed at getting the Cadbury Heath community together at Christmas.”
Cllr Shirley Holloway, chairman of South Gloucestershire Council will also be joining the children to sing carols.
The carols get underway at 6.30pm on Wednesday 16 December, at Banjo Island, Newton Road, Cadbury Heath. Refreshments will be available.
