New Director of Operations at Merlin Housing Society

Merlin Housing Society has announced the appointment of Amanda Meanwell as its new Director of Operations.
Amanda has joined Merlin from Sarsen Housing Association where she was Housing Director. Amanda’s career in housing spans more than 20 years during which time she has held a variety of roles, starting off working in homelessness in East London.
The Director of Operations role is a new position at Merlin having been created following a restructuring of its housing and property services departments. Amanda will be responsible for managing all of Merlin’s housing services, supported housing, property services and the Decent Homes improvement programme.
“I am really excited about this new opportunity at Merlin Housing Society, and have been made to feel really welcome by everyone,” she said. “I am looking forward to working with our customers to make sure they get great services and have a genuine opportunity to influence what we do.”
Merlin’s Chief Executive Ian Matthews said: “I’m delighted to welcome Amanda to Merlin. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with her which makes her the ideal person to lead our housing operations into the future.”
