Sian Walker-McAllister

Siân is Service Director Adult Care Operations at Wiltshire County Council and has over 30 years’ experience of working in social care and housing and also, has significant board membership experience in the public sector, having previously served as a Board Member of a Primary Care Trust, a Health Authority, several small Charities and as a School Governor.

Siân has previously worked as a Director of two housing associations – one in London and one in the South-West where she had strategic and operational responsibility for sheltered and supported housing as well as a range of care services. Siân’s particular interest is in ensuring that all our services are delivered in a way that shows we listen to our tenants and provide excellent services to them.  Siân has a particular interest, in ensuring that Merlin’s supported and sheltered housing services enable people to be supported to live as independently as they wish in our community.
