Independent Board Member Siân Walker-McAllister lives in Hanham and works as a Service Director for Wiltshire Council. She has over 30 years’ experience of working in social care and housing and also, has significant board membership experience in the public sector.
Siân has previously worked as a director of 2 housing associations – one in London and one in the south-west where she had strategic and operational responsibility for sheltered and supported housing as well as a range of care and support services. Siân’s particular interest is in ensuring that all our services are customer-focussed, and that in particular Merlin ensures that supported and sheltered housing enable people to be supported to live as independently as they wish in our communities.
