Our Board
We are run by a Board of 14 unpaid non-executive directors. Five of our Board members are residents, including our current chairman Les Good; four are South Gloucestershire councillors and the remaining five are independent members with specialist knowledge. We also have three co-opted Board members who sit on committees but who cannot vote. Members are usually elected for a three-year term.
The Board is supported by a management team consisting of the chief executive and three executive directors. The Board meets four times a year.
We hold an annual general meeting for all our shareholders every year when the results of any Board elections are formally announced.
There are two Board committees which help run the organisation. These are:
