Bank Support Assistants, £8.66 hourly rate
We are looking for people to join our bank team of support assistants on nil hours contracts to work as required at any of our schemes/locations throughout South Gloucestershire.
You will provide day to day monitoring of service users at a number of our sheltered housing schemes through intercom and home visits and follow up on any resulting actions. You will follow support plans with individual service users, carry out any actions resulting from them and provide low level support as identified.
You will have experience of working within the community or in a customer service role, the ability to respond calmly and effectively in an emergency and be able to communicate effectively and sensitively with older people, colleagues and agencies. Experience of working with older persons or other vulnerable people and knowledge of health and safety risks affecting older people are desirable.
