Neighbourhood walkabouts

Every month we run a series of neighbourhood walkabouts - a chance for you to meet up with your housing officer, walk round the streets near your home and discuss the things you want changed where you live.

Neighbourhood walkabouts are a great way to meet your housing officer and let you have a direct say about anything you'd like to see improved in the area where you live. We invite people from other organisations such as South Gloucestershire Council and the police to join us on the walkabouts.

After every walkabout we will draw up an action plan of things to do called "You saw, we did". You can see copies of the latest ones in the column on the left of this page. Some things we will be able to resolve quickly. Others may take a little longer, especially if they involved working with another organisation.

If you would like to be part of the next walkabout for your area, you can just turn up on the day. Or, if you can't make the walkabout, use the number in the invite letter to call your neighbourhood housing officer and tell them what you are concerned about.

We want our walkabouts to get better!

From November 16th, we're running a survey on what people think about our walkabouts. If you call one of our offices, you may be asked by our customer service advisors to answer a few questions about the walkabout process and your experiences of it. Or, you can fill in the survey on line - please take a few minutes to do this now (its at the bottom of the page) and help us improve.
