We’re well on our way to meeting our world-class goals set out in our Corporate Plan according to a new report.
We launched our corporate plan two years ago and having reached the half-way point have produced a report to chart our progress to date. The report has revealed that we’ve met or exceeded many of the targets that we had set ourselves to be at by March 2017.
Research and Development Manager Jo Ellis said: “Our top three priorities are to be financially strong, build new homes and improve satisfaction. By improving our efficiency we have improved our operating margin and not only have we met our 2017 target, but we’ve also met our 2019 target as well.
“Our development programme has gone from strength to strength over the past two years and we’re on course to build 133 in this financial year, nearly double the number we built last year. We’re on track to meet our target of building 300 new homes a year in 2018-19.
“But our customer satisfaction performance has slipped. Last year we saw a record high of 87% customer satisfaction but that has dipped down to 83% now. Improving customer satisfaction will be a key priority for us over the next two years to ensure we meet our target of 90% by March 2019.”
Among the other highlights of the past two years have been gaining Investors in People Silver, increasing the number of homes redecorated before they are re-let, increasing the effectiveness of the co-regulation of our business by customers.
