Over the past couple of weeks Property Investment’s Special Projects team have held three roadshows for customers in Severn Beach, Patchway and Thornbury. Held in partnership with our project partners Keepmoat and Wetherby the sessions were a chance for customers to get answers to any questions they have about the work.
In the coming months we’ll be refurbishing 144 homes in Thornbury, Alveston, Tytherington, Severn Beach, Pilning, Patchway and Filton. The work involves fitting new external wall insulation to the outside of homes plus fitting new windows and doors if needed.
Special Projects Manager Mark Sherwood said: “We’re pleased with how the sessions went. We had lots of interest from customers and their neighbours and were able to answer all of their questions. Now we’re focusing on making a start to the work next month.”
Over the past four years we’ve fitted new insulation to more than 500 homes in South Gloucestershire, making them warmer and cheaper to heat. All of the homes in the programme were built in the period after the Second World War as a quick solution to the housing crisis.
