We're expanding into the Cotswolds after finalising a contract to build more than 50 homes in Tetbury.
We've just signed a deal with Miller Homes to take on 52 of the homes being built at Highfields Farm on the outskirts of the historic market town. The development, which will be a mixture of smaller and family sized homes forms part of our ongoing goal to be building 300 new affordable properties every year by 2019.
Head of Development Amanda Swann said: “We’re delighted to be working in partnership with Miller Homes to bring these affordable homes to Tetbury.
“The National Housing Federation has revealed that house prices in the Cotswold area are around 14 times the average income, among the highest in the south west. There is a chronic shortage of affordable housing which means that many local people are struggling to find somewhere affordable in an area that they have lived and worked in for some time. These homes will help ease some of that pressure in Tetbury both now and in the future and we can’t wait to welcome new customers to set up home here.”
The 52 homes are part of a wider development of 250 properties that Miller Homes are building on the former farmland. Our homes will be a mixture of affordable rent and shared ownership, the first of which will be available in later in the year. Details about the shared ownership homes will be available on our sales page shortly.
